Sensors System Integration Engineer

The Sensors System Integration Engineer will work closely with customers to define product specifications for the technical development team, and manage system integration for 3D sensor products. Responsibilities include interfacing with customers and their technical teams, performing high-level system design, managing supply chain, conveying specifications for the engineering teams, planning, and project management. Qualifications desired for this position include a bachelor’s degree and an advanced degree in engineering or science, 5+ years experience in system integration, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage small motivated teams, and excellent planning skills.

Nanofabrication Engineer

The Nanofabrication Engineer will work closely with device designers to fabricate novel optoelectronic devices using state-of-the-art nanofabrication tools. Responsibilities include interacting with device designers, fabricating optoelectronic devices, leveraging inspection and characterization tools, and documenting process parameters. Qualifications desired for this position include 3+ years of nanofabrication experience, proficiency with nanofabrication techniques including lithography, deposition, etch, and inspection, and excellent time management skills.

Photonic Characterization Engineer

The Photonic Characterization Engineer will work closely with device designers and system integrators to characterize novel photonic devices. Responsibilities include building and automating test setups to characterize devices, data collection, and data analysis. Qualifications desired for this position include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or science, 3+ years of device characterization experience, proficiency with characterization equipment and data analysis software, and excellent time management skills.

Semiconductor Equipment Engineer

The Semiconductor Equipment Engineer will work closely with the manufacturing team to maintain semiconductor equipment. Responsibilities include tool repair, routine maintenance, managing a spare parts inventory, interfacing with vendors for spare parts and chemicals, and new tool installation. Qualifications desired for this position are 5+ years experience with semiconductor equipment management, the ability to work in a highly motivated team, excellent organizational and documentation skills, and excellent time management skills.

Project Manager

The Project Manager (PM) for Aeluma will be in Goleta, CA. The PM will coordinate, plan, lead, manage and drive-for-results projects Aeluma’s InGaAs on Silicon customer engagements. The PM will work in a matrixed cross-functional team and drive effective collaboration through a variety of communications tools including regularly scheduled meetings with internal stakeholders and external customers when and as appropriate. This is an individual contributor role and requires office presence much of the time.
